VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARDS (VSA) PROGRAM
How much time do you spend on Junior League activities? Lots of hours, right?
Now you can keep track of your hours and be recognized for your work. AJLI is offering active members, sustainer members and new members the opportunity to participate in the Volunteer Service Awards Program, or VSA. Award levels include: bronze for 100-249 volunteer hours, silver for 250-499 hours, and gold for 500 hours or more in a 12 month period.
What JLS activities count?
- Time spent doing committee and board work
- Attendance at GMMs
- Done In A Day projects
- Holiday Shoppes shift
- New member training meetings
- AJLI trainings
What doesn’t count?
- League social events
- travel time to/from JLS activities
- volunteer time on non-League projects: you will still be asked to list your community volunteer commitments and hours in May
